Sometimes in Nova Scotia (and sometimes not), SiNS engages a broad cross section of the dance community in shared learning experiences and new work development. Operating through flexible, project-based partnerships that further creation, production and performance, SiNS has toured across Canada, including performances in the Maritimes, Toronto, Vancouver & Victoria.

About the show:
Festival of BodyWork transforms Parade Square into an open-air environment for movement, play, and collective encounter. Oversized hand-built sculptures become shared partners for exploration as dancers, musicians, and the public animate the site together. Visitors are invited to move with, around, and through the sculptural forms, discovering how simple interactions can become choreography. Blurring the boundaries between sculpture, performance, and participation, the project reimagines the city as a place where bodies gather, improvise, and create experience together. Live sound and lighting shape an evolving atmosphere that unfolds throughout the evening.

About the show:
Everyone is Interesting is a community-focused project that aims to explore, engage with, and unite the individuals who call Kjipuktuk/Halifax home. Inspired by Mammalian Diving Reflex’s internationally acclaimed ‘social acupuncture,’ audiences will embark on a series of intimate, unusual and joyful experiences, with select moments led by local youth, to prove the universal truth: Everyone is Interesting.
This show accepts pay-what-you-can tickets in exact cash (no change) at the door. This means that anybody can come see the show at the show time with any amount of cash, provided there are still tickets available.
